A smell-proof airport terminal has opened at the Morton Salt and Pepper Co. facility in the Morton, Utah, area.
The airport will serve the Salt Lake City area for the next four years, as the company moves to an entirely new site.
The new terminal, which will be located in the Salt River Delta area, is being constructed in conjunction with the airport’s new $5 billion expansion.
Morton Salt and Salt Lake International Airport opened in 1971.
It is a major employer in the city, with over 6,000 employees.
The terminal will have five lanes of traffic, which is about the same as those in the existing Salt Lake Delta airport.
